Product Highlight of the Week: MAC Funbathing Cremesheen Lipstick - As part of my plan to rediscover forgotten items in my makeup cache, I dug out Funbathing the other night and swiped it on. The image you see is how it looks applied neat, without liner, without base, and without gloss. LURV!!! - This came out with the To The Beach collection, and I remember popping by MAC a week after the launch, and getting disgruntled when I realized ALL the lip colors and glosses in the collection were sold out, with the exception of Funbathing (dark brown lipstick below). Well, all of you people who grabbed the other shades and gave this one a miss because you thought it wouldnt look nice, EAT YOUR HEART OUT!!! - Teasing aside, this is a fabulous glossy wine-brown with a strong gold-bronze shift, similar in texture and finish to Lollipop Loving. It looks much darker in the tube than on the lips. MAC, you need to bring this back. - TIP: You can get a similar finish by dunking the tip of a sheer deep brown lipstick, directly into a shimmery gold or amber pigment, and then applying it over your lips. Then coat with a touch of gloss.
