The man who loved this beauty was supposed to sail aboard Titanic but ended up shanghaied aboard a tramp steamer bound for China. His trunk, whose contents included the letters he received from this ravishing creature while traveling the world, made the voyage, & sank with the ship. It was recovered from the ocean floor 81 years later, its artifacts restored. Sadly, she died of pneumonia before her fortunate beau returned to his home in Buffalo.
