New Bond Street - Burnish ‘New Bond Street’ is based on one of the oldest surviving documents in English Heritage’s wallpaper archive, a fragment from an embossed leather wall hanging. In the era before wallpapers became commercially available, panels of embossed and painted leather were popular – though expensive – modes of decoration.
