"El Caballo Tigre," from Spain, and the oriental Heavenly Horses once used to hunt the Siberian Tiger. Fortunately before going extinct, the exotic spotting genes of those early breeds, plus many of their original characteristics, began arriving in the USA in a mixture of related breeds, some 300 years ago. Today's Tiger Horse is a larger, longer living version than the Heavenly Horses from which they descend.    We call 'em Appaloosas.
