These Red Velvet cupcakes were very moist (unlike many out there), but my favorite part of red velvet is the cream cheese frosting, and this changed it up a bit more than I would have liked. These had a whipped cream, cream cheese frosting that was very light and airy for summer, but it lost the cream cheese flavor. This topping however, would be amazing for a trifle and lots of fun summer fruit. Yummy, but not your standard Red Velvet pairing. (Red Velvet 4th of July Cupcakes) ekw
