The small vineyard team use traditional methods to produce English quality sparkling wine, traditional Champagne verities, Pinot noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Here you will discover the journey from vine to bottle with an insightful tour and tasting experience for four. Watch and learn about the traditional methods used and processes involved in the production of their wines, then under the tuition of the experienced tour guide you and your guests will taste a selection of wines. On arrival you will be greeted by one of the wine makers, they will give you a guided tour through the vineyard. On route you will learn about growing wine grapes and the challenges associated with this. Then head back to the winery to learn about production operations, you will discover the various processes from pressing the fruit to the fermentation of the wine. Depending on whether it is currently being made at the time, you may also see how cider is produced using apples sourced from the local gardens, as well as then sampling it for yourselves. Included in your experience is a tasting session of different wines accompanied with some nibbles.
