The underlying scientific basis of Indian traditions and practices

The division of distinction that separates art and culture from science is artificial. Science was an integral part and an important preoccupation in ancient Indian culture. The past inspires the future in India, and the ancient Sanskrit texts reflect shades of twentieth-century thinking. Scientific ideas were developed in India over 5,000 years ago and have stood the test of time.
