It was the family seat of the Orlebar family , hinwick has remained in the hands of the Olivars from 1710 for a period of close to 300 years. As the family moved on the house was sold to a series of owners who were then interested with its upkeep in December 2014, Hinwick house was purchased by the Singh family looking to relocate the principal family home, a decision was made that a detailed program of restoration and sympathetic renovation will be undertaken to restore the house to original glory.
