Conservative government pledge for UK property

During the past few weeks, Conservative and Labour cabinets descended on the North West for their party conferences. This included Michael Gove, who focused on plans for UK homes moving forward and on protecting Britain's green belt. Gove pledged to “build in the hearts of towns and cities and on brownfield land, because that cuts commuting times and protects the Green Belt.” So, does this mean the property market will become more active?
