Russia Charoite is a rare semi-precious gemstone, and it is found only in a single location in this entire world – Siberia, Russia. This stone is famous among jewelry enthusiasts for its swirling patterns of colors like lavender, white, and violet. This stone was formed as a result of contact metamorphism, where the deposits of limestone got transformed by heat, pressure, and potassium-rich hydrothermal fluids as they interacted with syenite rocks. This process occurred about 1.6 billion years ago in the Murun Massif region, which is located near the Chara River of Russia.
