Weak Scope 3 coverage, inconsistent ESG KPIs, lack of board accountability, and non-assured metrics act as early warning signs, leading to reporting delays, data gaps, and erosion of stakeholder trust. Strengthening leadership indicators early is critical to improving BRSR quality and ESG maturity.
