Set in the splendid landscape of the Castelli Romani, the Diocesan Museum of Velletri is housed within the cloister of the Cathedral. The museum preserves priceless works of art, many of which are notable for their rarity. Among them is the “Croce Veliterna,” an exquisite 11th–12th century reliquary crafted in gold filigree and enamel. The collection also features pieces by Gentile da Fabriano, Bicci di Lorenzo, Antoniazzo Romano, Giovan Battista Rositi, and Francesco da Siena, along with remarkable liturgical garments and furnishings.
