Based in Sarasota, FL, Select Power provides local electrical and standby power services for homes and small properties. Homeowners rely on our guidance for Kohler generators, system sizing, installation, and practical upkeep that fits real-world needs. During storm season, demand for reliable generators often rises, and our team helps clients plan ahead with clear options and timelines. When backup coverage for the entire property is the goal, options for a whole house generator are reviewed during a site visit to assess placement, fuel source, and load priorities. For those starting a project, we maintain a curated selection of generators for sale to match different home sizes and typical circuits. We also supply and service Generac generators along with installation, commissioning, and follow-up checks as systems age. Ongoing maintenance plans for home generators can include inspections, testing, and minor part replacements to support long-term performance. Beyond standby power, our electricians handle EV charger installation and can coordinate an electrical panel upgrade when capacity needs change. From initial consultation to final walkthrough, the process focuses on safe work, clear communication, and coordination with fuel providers and permitting as needed. Projects commonly include generator installation and repair, interlock or transfer equipment, and homeowner education on testing schedules. Site assessments consider ventilation, setbacks, noise, and service access so equipment is placed thoughtfully. Clients can expect straightforward scheduling and documentation that outlines scope, lead times, and any site prep that may be required. If you are planning upgrades, you can start with an assessment of existing loads, future additions like EV charging, and the best path to a dependable setup.
