Subspace coding serves as a mathematical framework for neural activity over time. Researchers discovered that direct physical measurements of brain activity revealed a genuine, dynamic wave circulating the cortex. A wave of activity propagating across the cortical electrode was corroborated by numerous observations of the spatial organization and angular variations of neural spiking activity. A genuine wave rotated at an identical speed to the subspace-coded wave. These scientific facts demonstrate how ocular and cerebral activity enable visual perception. At CCL, we assist designers and artists in cultivating interdisciplinary skills through a comprehensive understanding of foundational neuroscience principles.
